Molly Dillon, Associate, Name Change Project
Molly Dillon (they / them / theirs) comes to the TLDEF Name Change Project with a background in housing advocacy and harm reduction. They hold a BA in sociology from NYU and a master’s degree in urban planning from Hunter College. They have worked extensively with organizations that provide syringe access services and information about safer drug use practices, as well as assistance securing housing and vital social services. Molly is also passionate about supporting queer and trans prisoners. For many years, they have organized letter writing events, call-ins, and legal assistance fund drives for incarcerated LGBTQIA individuals. They are overjoyed to work at TLDEF to provide support for trans people and advocate for transgender rights.
