Rachel Baruck (she / her / hers) is a rising 2L at NYU Law, with interests primarily in Civil Rights, Constitutional Law, and Election Law. Rachel's interest in Transgender Rights stems from a deep-seeded belief in equality under the law, and recognition that there is a lot of work to be done in order for Trans Rights to be recognized by the courts at the level of other Civil Rights. Rachel graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017, and prior to law school spent three years working in digital communications for progressive political campaigns and nonprofits. In her free time, Rachel enjoys singing, painting, and sunny afternoons spent on patios.
